Commitment and concern are the two essentials in any relationship, and the one that we have built here for the past so many DAY’s is no different. I regret the delay that features at the top of the page through the timing, but late or other I must make sure of my connect with my FmXt .. !!
It has been an exhausting day. Starting up early to the gym and then straight on to the Mehboob Studios for promotional activities on ‘Aarakshan’ have taken up the entire day and most part of the night. There has really been no respite, but all in good cause and effort. And then when it was all over, Abhishek called to say that Farhan Akhtar had invited us to see ‘ZNMD’ - Zindagi na Milegi Doobara .. so rushed there and have only just returned.
It is a delightful film, different and presented in such a novel manner. Male bonding over a travel trip and some of the most natural performances recently seen. Farhan and Abhay Deol were a delight to watch and of course Hritik moved like a dream .. Honey, Farhan’s mother has invested well in her children. Zoya, Farhan’s sister has directed the film in a most easy and natural manner. Congratulations !!
Meanwhile India has lost the first Test to England at Lord’s and the defeat has been most convincing. India were routed well before the challenged total they had to scale and all hopes of a second innings revival a la some previous matches, did not work very well .. But we look ahead to the next test and hopefully an opportunity to better the performance.
I must to bed now for tomorrow, or well today I have to be up by 4.30 am .. thats in another 2 hours !
